EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The Wildlife Care Clinic staff regularly
give presentations for schools, community events, the Department of Natural
Resources, and County Conservation offices. Programs are designed to meet the
needs of the event.
We often share information concerning Iowa's native
species by presenting our educational birds as examples. We stress that our educational
birds are non-releasable but that the primary mission of the Wildlife Care Clinic
is the rehabilitation and release of injured wildlife.
In addition to
presenting our raptors, we also present information about what we do in the
clinic.
If you would like more information about our presentations,
or would like to set up a time for a program to be given to your organization,
please contact us here.
