Hours:
The Wildlife Care Clinic is open Monday
through Friday from 7am until 5 pm and weekends from 9am until noon.
We also offer a 24 hour emergency service.

The College of Veterinary Medicine is located in Ames directly north of U.S. Hwy 30, at the southern-most section of the Iowa State University campus. Interstate 35 runs north and south just east of Ames - the Veterinary complex is 4 miles WEST of I-35 off US Hwy 30.
From I-35: If traveling to Ames via Interstate 35, take Exit 111B labeled Hwy 30 West. Travel west on Highway 30; then take exit 146, labeled Elwood Drive/ ISU/stadium. Drive a short distance north on Elwood Dr. to South 16th St. - the second stop light. Turn RIGHT (opposite of Reiman Gardens and stadium parking).
From US Hwy 69: If traveling to Ames via US Hwy 69 (runs north/south, parallel to I-35), this highway becomes Duff Avenue within the city of Ames. Take Hwy 69 or Duff Ave to South 16th St, just north of Hwy 30, then turn WEST on S. 16th. Proceed west on S. 16 St. approx. 1.5 miles.
From US Hwy 30: Use exit 146 - labeled Elwood Drive/ISU/ stadium. Drive a short distance north on Elwood Dr. to South 16th St. - the second stop light. Turn RIGHT. (opposite of Reiman Gardens and stadium parking).
East Entrance: The east entrance drive is off South 16th Street. For use by clients with trailers or transporting large animals. This drive proceeds south to the Large Animal Clinic and the adjoining Small Animal Clinic. Proceed as far south as possible toward US Hwy 30, then turn toward the center of the complex. A client parking area is directly in front of the entrance doors to both clinics.
