ABOUT THE STAFF

The Wildlife Care Clinic is currently staffed by three veterinarians and five staff members.

Dedicated volunteers make up the majority of our supportive staff. Without these volunteers the clinic would not be able to run effectively.

Dr. Lin Kauffman is a staff veterinarian for the Wildlife Care Clinic and a small animal clinician for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She received her Bachelor degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Wilson College, in Pennsylvania, in 1998 and her Veterinary degree from Iowa State University in 2003. Her interests are in reproduction medicine and veterinary dentistry.

Lindsey Gapstur is currently a senior majoring in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine with a minor in Biology. Upon graduation, she plans on attending veterinary school.

Kristen Bredemeier is currently a senior double majoring in Biology and Animal Ecology. After graduation, Kristen plans to continue working in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation.

Kelsey Hoeppner is currently a senior majoring in Animal Ecology and is planning to attend graduate school to study Wildlife Biology.

Dominique Alexander is currently a senior majoring in Animal Ecology/Pre-Veterinary Medicince with emphasis on wildlife rehabilitation. After graduation, she plans on working as a veterinary technician in a wildlife facility.

Erica Eaves is a Junior is Animal Ecology. Upon graduation, she will be pursuing a career in wildlife rehabiliation.
